Bandera azul. Playas esplendorosas. Todo maravilloso. Pero la contaminación marina está presente en muchas playas españolas. En los lugares de baño. Allí donde se bañan decenas de personas, que se exponen a lo peor. Y las autoridades competentes guardan silencio. Ya lo resolverá la Seguridad Social, por urgencias, porque por otra vía puede tardar meses. Y mientras los presupuestos crecen y crecen. SE dice que sobran funcionarios, pero lo que falta es conciencia social, sentido de la responsabilidad. Discurso político y evidencia, viven en un divorcio permanente.
La España de "Tatachundi Lerchundi," ESTÁ CADA DÍA MÁS PRESENTE.

Speaking at the 2015 World Maritime Rescue Congress, John Dalziel, and Dr Roberta Weisbrod of the Worldwide Ferry Safety Association cited the seafarer’s dilemma:
It is the master’s decision whether to sail.
It is the owner’s decision who is the master.

The congress, organized by the International Maritime Rescue Federation, was discussing the world’s tragic ferry disaster statistics including the 166 accidents that occurred over the 14 years between 2000 and 2014. These accidents are estimated to have resulted in over 18,000 deaths in 37 countries.
Conservative estimates provided by Abigail Golden of the Worldwide Ferry Safety Association indicate that 58 percent of accidents and 75 percent of fatalities are caused by human error.Seguir leyendo
