At 09:00 AM local time on April 10, MSC Armonia arrived in the port of Isla Roatan, Honduras. While manoeuvring alongside, for reasons that are currently still being duly investigated, the ship deviated from her course and grazed the end of the pier.
There was never any risk for guests or crew on board. There was also no impact for the environment. In fact, while there was a slight delay for our guests to disembark, all who were scheduled to go ashore on excursions and other activities disembarked as planned.
As to the ship, the damage was minor. Following repairs, she has also since been cleared by Honduran Port State Control authorities to continue her journey.
MSC Armonia left the port at approximately 3:30 AM local time today, which would bring her into Belize, her next scheduled port of call, by approximately 11 AM.

El pasado día 6 de marzo, el buque BETANZOS tras un fallo total de la máquina a salida del puerto de Lisboa sufrió una varada. El barco sin posibilidad de gobierno terminó sobre el bajo conocido como el Bugio.
Tras la varada, la Capitanía de Puerto y la naviera NAVIGASA, armadora del BETANZOS, adoptaron algunas medidas destinadas a reflotar el barco, pero todas ellas, por su inconsistencia, resultaron infructuosas. El martes por la tarde, el Maersk Honam informó de un grave incendio en una de sus bodegas de carga. 23 miembros de la tripulación han sido evacuados con éxito y se están llevando a cabo operaciones de búsqueda y rescate para cuatro miembros de la tripulación actualmente desaparecidos.
El martes 6 de marzo de 2018 a las 15:20 GMT, el buque de Maersk, Maersk Honam, informó de un grave incendio en una bodega de carga. En ruta desde Singapur hacia Suez, el buque se encuentra actualmente a unas 900 millas náuticas al sudeste de Salalah, Omán.
