El presidente del Clúster Marítimo Español, Federico Esteve, se ha dirigido por escrito a los portavoces de los grupos Popular y Socialista en el Congreso de los Diputados solicitándoles que “impulsen y dinamicen la tramitación parlamentaria del Proyecto de Ley de Navegación Marítima para que no sufra de nuevo ralentizaciones como ha sucedido ya en dos ocasiones anteriores que impidieron, con graves repercusiones para el sector, su entrada en vigor”.
En su escrito, Esteve pone de manifiesto “el interés de este colectivo, por la urgente tramitación parlamentaria del Proyecto de Ley”, ya que se trata de un Proyecto “largamente ansiado por todos aquellos que de una u otra perspectiva estamos vinculados a algunos de los centenares de sectores económicos

The passage of a Chinese cargo ship along the Northern Sea Route is an important step in increasing the attractiveness of the northern route for transit goods. However, Russia, like other Arctic countries, might not be ready for the opening of the Arctic and an increase in traffic along the Northern Sea Route. Delays in funding the construction of icebreakers mean that in the medium term the Northern Sea Route may be left without proper icebreaker support. And the lack of a system to prevent oil spills is threatening the state of the environment in the Arctic, but this problem is gradually being addressed at national level in Russia as new rescue centres are being opened.

Han pasado 28 años y un día desde que el "Castillo de Salas" vertiera al mar 50.000 toneladas de carbón tras su hundimiento frente a la costa de la ciudad. A pesar de las numerosas investigaciones que sobre el suceso se han realizado, aún quedan muchos interrogantes en torno a un siniestro que a día de hoy, tres décadas después de la tragedia, sigue dejando su huella en la arena de la playa de San Lorenzo.
