The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has come under heavy criticism by operators over illegal import of adulterated petroleum products by importers at the popular Ibafon petroleum jetty in Lagos.
This allegation was leveled by operators, even as they further accused the agency's officials at the jetty of sabotaging the essence of their establishment.
The operators who pleaded anonymity revealed that the practice is common at the Ibafon jetty, but added that the Ijora jetties are not left out.
Sources revealed to Shipping Position Daily, yesterday, that officials from the DPR found joy in dealing with importers that bring in such sub standard products over those that import high quality products.
