Enova concede 65 millones de euros a cinco proyectos de hidrógeno para combustible marítimo en Noruega

Enova apoya cinco proyectos de producción de hidrógeno. El proyecto será un trampolín para el uso del hidrógeno en el transporte marítimo noruego, según un comunicado de la empresa. 

En total, los proyectos que han recibido apoyo bajo la iniciativa de Enova, ahora y en 2022, contribuirán a una capacidad de producción de 100 MW, lo que corresponde a aproximadamente 40 toneladas de hidrógeno por día.  

Además, los proyectos contribuirán a reducir las emisiones de 200.000 toneladas de CO2 al año, lo que equivale al 5,5% de las emisiones nacionales procedentes del transporte marítimo y la pesca, que ascienden a

The Draghi Report estimates that €40 billion in annual investments will be needed between 2031 and 2050 for the energy transition of shipping. Building a supply chain for clean fuels in Europe is a priority for the industry to meet its decarbonisation targets and for Europe to achieve its climate targets.

Clean Maritime Fuels Platform supports the report’s conclusions regarding the need to:

To promote the market ramp-up of green hydrogen and enhance cooperation in climate action and sustainable development, India and Germany have launched the “Indo-German Green Hydrogen Roadmap.”

The countries released the roadmap during the seventh round of India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (7th IGC) on October 25, 2024, in New Delhi. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz co-chaired the event.

As disclosed, the roadmap is expected to help support India’s ambition for the production, usage and export of green hydrogen while also contributing to its swifter adoption as a sustainable source of energy in both countries.
