La incorporación de parabrisas en portacontenedores está ganando popularidad entre las líneas navieras. Evergreen Marine y Pacific International Lines (PIL) han comenzado a equipar algunas de sus naves con este elemento, que mejora el desempeño y la eficiencia operativa en condiciones marítimas adversas, informa Alphaliner.
Evergreen y la serie "Ever-M"
Evergreen decidió añadir parabrisas en los últimos buques de su serie "Ever-M", construida por Samsung Heavy Industries en Corea del Sur. La estructura se implementaría en siete de los 20 buques de esta serie, y el primero en poseerlo sería el "Ever Macro".
Los buques de la clase "Ever-M" tienen una capacidad de 15.372 TEUs
