While some TV celebrities are suspected of having cozy relations with fugitive Yoo Byung-eun, owner of the sunken ferry Sewol, a major entertainment company has also come under the spotlight in the wake of the prosecution taking into custody his younger brother, Byung-ho.
Following the detainment of the runaway’s older brother Byung-il, investigators arrested Yoo Byung-ho late Sunday. He is the father-in-law of singer-songwriter Park Jin-young, CEO of JYP Entertainment.
The capture of Park’s father-in-law undermined shares of one of the nation’s top three entertainment firms. The stock price of JYP Ent. plunged 5.86 percent from a trading session earlier to close at 4,180

“[W]hen society places hundreds of proletarians in such a position that they inevitably meet a too early and an unnatural death… when it deprives thousands of the necessaries of life… forces them, through the strong arm of the law, to remain in such conditions until that death ensues which is the inevitable consequence… its deed is murder just as surely as the deed of the single individual…”
Frederick Engels, The Condition of the Working Class in England (1845)
A large majority of the world’s population lacks essential social protections, leading to the preventable deaths of 18,000 children under five each day. This is among the findings of the World Social Protection Report 2014-15released by the
