El buque ‘Braemar’ atraca en Santander

El buque ‘Braemar’ atracó el pasado 26 de mayo en Santander a las 07:30h hasta las 16:30h. A la capital cántabra llegaron más de 700 pasajeros y 300 miembros de tripulación, mayoritariamente británicos. ‘Braemar’ es el tercer crucero que recala en Santander tras el ‘L’Austral’ y el ‘AidaStella’, que llegaron los días 1 y 17 de mayo, respectivamente.

 

El ‘Braemar’ salió el pasado 20 de mayo del puerto de Harwich (Reino Unido) para viajar durante 12 noches en lo que será un itinerario temático sobre el queso y el vino. Además de Santander, el buque visitará otras cinco ciudades de España.

NordLB Swings to Profit on Lower Loan-Loss Provisions

Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale, a focus of the European Central Bank’s asset quality review along with other shipping lenders, swung to a first-quarter profit as it reduced loan-loss provisions by 59 percent.

The state-owned bank, which is based in the city of Hanover in northern Germany, posted a profit of 92 million euros ($126 million) compared with a loss of 32 million euros in the same period last year, it said today in an interim earnings report on its website.

The main opposition New Politics Alliance for Democracy on Tuesday stepped up its offensive against prime ministerial nominee Ahn Dae-hee and urged him to decline the nomination amid escalating controversy over his high income and special favors he allegedly received.
