RollDock Shipping receives Rolldock Storm cargo vessel

Dutch heavy lift shipping company RollDock Shipping has taken delivery of its latest vessel Rolldock Storm from Germany-based Flensburger-Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG).
The new vessel is the shipping company's fourth next-generation semi-submersible heavy lift roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) vessel.
The ship complements RollDock's existing fleet, which includes the Rolldock Sun, Rolldock Sea and the sister vessel, Rolldock Star.
The Rolldock Storm features two 350t Liebherr heavy-lift cranes, a ro-ro ramp with up to 4,000t weight capacity, which can be placed at various levels in relation to the quay, and a box-shaped dock hold measuring 119.44m by 19.4m.

Conesa ha asegurado que el Ejecutivo local insistirá en mejorar las actuales condiciones del transporte marítimo
Tras el encuentro mantenido ayer jueves entre el Gobierno de Melilla y la Marina Mercante para plantear la situación del transporte marítimo, el portavoz del Ejecutivo local, Daniel Conesa, ha asegurado que el objetivo que ambas partes se proponen es garantizar las líneas con Málaga y Almería mediante un contrato de obligación pública, tal y como viene sucediendo hasta el momento.

A joint industry project to define next-generation LNG carrier
DNV GL has initiated a joint industry project to define the state-of-the-art next-generation LNG carrier.
The aim is to develop a new LNG carrier that has a significantly improved environmental footprint and is more energy efficient and better suited to future trading patterns than existing vessels. The project will include the latest technology advances in cargo containment and propulsion efficiency, with focus on improving the environmental performance.
DNV GL has brought together experts from across the industry, including GTT, Hyundai Heavy Industries and GasLog, each contributing their unique expertise and experience.

El buque 'Black Watch' ha hecho escala este martes al puerto de Peñíscola (Castellón), donde permanecerá durante todo el día para que sus pasajeros puedan visitar la ciudad y sus alrededores, según ha informado el Consell en un comunicado.
Procedente del puerto de Barcelona, este buque de pasajeros ha llegado a puerto de Peñíscola a primera hora de la mañana, fondeando en la bahía de Peñíscola, donde estará hasta las 17.00 horas.
El desembarque de los pasajeros y de la tripulación se ha fijado a partir de las 07.30
